Liz Burch River Swim 2010

"Liz Burch King & Queen of the River Swim" is a challenging 2.7km Ross River swim in Townsville.  It commences at Aplin's Weir and goes to the Barton Bridge (Nathan Street) and back to the pontoon at Rossiter Park in Aitkenvale. Event has been held since 1985, and 2010 will see it's 22nd year.

Registration is on race day only from 8am-845am at Rossiter's Park, Kimball Street, Aitkenvale. A bus will take you to the start which is on Aplin's Weir.

Swimmers under 18years must have parental permission to complete. No wet suits, fins or buoyancy aids. No individual escort boats or skis without prior approval. No drafting or relays are allowed.

Entry fee -   Adults $20       Juniors (14-16yrs) $15           Sub-Juniors (10-13years) $15
